Vancouver Startup Week 2018

Ever curious how an idea becomes a startup and what it takes to build a company? What keeps these entrepreneurs up at night? What are their proudest and most challenging moments they've experienced so far? And how they are preparing for the future?

In this 90 minute interactive session, each panelist will begin the session with sharing their story through a panel discussion and then we will have fireside chats with each Founder, rotating World Cafe style.

Moderated by Jennifer Curleigh and Leah  Hennessey Rai, Culture Collaborators at SPARK Creations & Company, we will hear the Founder's journey from Aman Mann, Co-Founder and CEO of Procurify, Chris Jensen, Co-Founder of Left and RightMesh, Claire Booth, Founder and President of Lux Insights and Shawn Neumann, Founder and CEO of Domain7.

What's it like to enter the tech space as a new grad to leading an organization as the CEO? What are the challenges faced along the career path and how do we make each transition? What are key lessons that we can learn to support our journey as a women in the tech space?

In this 90 minute interactive session, we'll hear stories and real life experiences from a panel of women in tech from a new grad, mid-level career, Senior Leader all the way to the head of the company! We'll then get into smaller groups so you can get up close and personal with each panelist.
