Enjoy canapes and your first drink on us. Watch the awards live in the theatre, or watch the live stream in our viewing area outside the theatre. For the fourth year running, we’re delighted for the awards to mark the official kickoff for Vancouver Startup Week.

Join us for a fun evening or celebrating our amazing startup community! Spend the evening meeting some cool local startups and VSW partners including Two Tall Totems, Microsoft, Spaces and The Profile, networking with fellow entrepreneurs, investors and community friends, and enjoying delicious food like ice cream from Earnest Ice Cream and free drinks courtesy of Granville Island Brewery, Nude Vodka Soda and more!

This event happens alongside New Ventures BC Awards Competition and you are free to check it out whenever you like, throughout the evening - so 2 amazing events in 1!

Science World is easily accessible by public transit and we will have Evo staff on hand nearby to help open up Evo parking spots in dedicated lots nearby!

This event is free for all ages, but alcohol will only be served to those 19 years of age and up. We do not encourage drinking and driving. Please plan to get home safely!

We've also partnered up with Startups Care at this event and donations for additional drinks will be accepted in support of Vancouver Food Bank! Cash and Credit card donations will be accepted!

Vancouver Startup Week is back with the city's largest startup Recruitment Fair! 2018 marks our fourth year connecting local top talent and companies for an evening of engaging conversation. We're back at Science World and building on last year's count of 35 hiring companies! If you've got that entrepreneurial spirit and want to join a hot startup in the city or you're looking to add great talent to your growing team, then this fair is for you!
