Founder and President
Claire Booth is an entrepreneur, market researcher, speaker, facilitator and university professor. She has almost 20 years’ experience capturing insights for companies across North America both as an executive with market research giant Ipsos, and, since 2008, as founder and president of Lux Insights, a boutique qualitative and quantitative research agency with offices in Vancouver and Seattle. Current clients include Amazon, Fitbit and Ancestry.com. Lux recently won QRCA’s 2018 Qually Award, which honours excellence in qualitative research. Claire is an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business where she teaches Market Research and she was also a sessional instructor at Capilano University. She chairs the Senior Executive Program for BC’s Marketing Association (BCAMA) and has been recognized as a top-three finalist for business person of the year in her home city of North Vancouver. Claire sits on the board for cutting-edge theatre The Cultch, and, since 2013, has been a Big Sister to a teenage girl. She swims with North Vancouver’s Masters Team. Claire’s book entitled The Achiever Fever Cure: How I Learned to Stop Striving Myself Crazy, will be published by LifeTree Media on January 22, 2019. Claire lives with her partner, Chris, in North Vancouver, Canada.
