Patrick practices corporate and securities law with an emphasis on advising public companies in the mining, technology, distribution and beverage industries. He regularly advises on public and private mergers and acquisitions, shareholder rights plans, corporate finance transactions, reorganizations, issuer bids, compliance with stock exchange rules and continuous disclosure obligations.  Patrick has also advised the underwriters and/or creditors with respect to a wide range of corporate finance transactions. Additionally, he advises on corporate governance matters including proxy contests and other shareholder disputes.
Patrick specializes in mining law and advises a wide range of clients in the mining industry. He has significant experience with joint venture, option, mineral property acquisition, royalty and streaming agreements as well as assisting clients with mineral tenure issues.
